About Michigan State CVM Bee Medicine Club
In 2018, Michigan State CVM Bee Medicine Club was founded after the Veterinary Feed Directive went into effect for Bees in 2017.
The purpose of the Bee Medicine Club is to bring awareness to the importance of pollinators and the critical role veterinarians can play in the health of honeybee hives. All while educating veterinary students in the field of honey bee veterinary medicine!
The Michigan State University Honey Bee Veterinary Medicine Club is a student chapter of the Honey Bee Veterinary Consortium (HBVC).
The CVM Bee Medicine Club will host speakers, build partnerships with local beekeepers and facilitate hands-on experiences for the veterinary medical community to learn about honey bee medicine.
